Tower Hamlets Community Housing awards innovative IT contract to Manifest

Manifest, an IT and business consultancy for the housing sector, has been awarded a two-year contract to support and manage line-of-business applications by Tower Hamlets Community Housing (THCH).

The charitable housing provider, that manages more than 3,000 homes in the western side of Tower Hamlets, has appointed Manifest to help it succeed in the changing landscape of cloud-based technologies.

A fresh approach sees the association’s incumbent provider of seven years replaced by Manifest delivering a niche applications support service, working alongside a separate provider of infrastructure support.

Recently awarded G1 status for demonstrating the top grading for governance, THCH believes this innovative move will provide tenants with improved services as system improvements are made, as well as achieving substantial costs savings.

Work included within the service will include business as usual support across a portfolio of at least nine applications, leading improvement and implementation projects, and providing bespoke solutions.

David Sheehan, Head of IT at THCH adds: “Finding a provider that is capable of providing support for our niche business systems is not an easy task. We appointed Manifest due to their strong understanding of the housing sector and assurance to deliver an agile and innovative service.”

The move will see Manifest analysing trends, measuring performance data and providing advice on developments in technology within and outside the sector, ensuring THCH deploy appropriate and cost-effective technology systems and practices.

David continues: “This partnership means that sufficient time is allocated to allow for recommendations and innovation to be put into practice, as well as allowing for on-site support time.”

Gareth Rexworthy, Managing and Commercial Director at Manifest says; “We are delighted to win this unique contract where we will work closely with THCH to deploy tangible improvements in housing management systems.

The agile nature of this service means that business applications can be adapted and improved rapidly at exactly the right time, leading to positive results for residents.”
